OUR PRINCIPALS A banker and two attorneys…..a great combination for a title company! DONNA STRAUS has been involved in the financial services industry since 1980. In her early career, she managed domestic and international investments for savings and loans and banks, including CitiBank. In 1986, she capitalized upon her banking background and opened Homeowners Title Company. She merged Homeowners in 1988 with Enterprise Title Inc., which was owned by Broad and Cassel. She has served as the President of Enterprise since 1995. Clients discuss their purchase or refinance with Donna when the new file is opened, and Donna tracks the progress of the files throughout the closing process. Donna conducts the majority of the closings in our Pembroke Pines office. She received her undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Florida and her MBA from the University of Miami. ARNOLD (SKIP) STRAUS has represented title agencies in South Florida for 24 years. He has personally examined title to over 10,000 properties, and has supervised well over 40,000 closings. He is solely responsible for the issuance of all title insurance policies from Enterprise. From 1988 through 1995, Skip ran the South Florida title division for the statewide law firm of Broad and Cassel, where he served as a partner from 1990 through 1995. In 1995, he purchased Enterprise Title, Inc. from the firm. In 2000, Skip brought together industry leaders to perform the nation’s first paperless purchase and mortgage transaction. Today, Skip is the CEO of eCloz LLC, a technology company enabling closing agents to record documents electronically. He is a Vice President of the Florida Land Title Assocation (FLTA). As a partner in Straus & Eisler P.A., he handles commercial real estate, probate matters, and business transactions. Skip graduated with a degree in Economics from Tufts University and received his law degree from the University of Miami. MICHAEL EISLER joined Enterprise in 2000. From 1990 to 2000, Michael was the supervising attorney for a statewide real estate closing and foreclosure law firm, Spieler & Associates. He has written and lectured extensively on issues which affect mortgage lenders, such as federal compliance with RESPA and with Truth-in-Lending laws. As the primary closing attorney in Enterprise’s Weston office, Michael oversees every aspect of title examination and closings. He resolves all problems which occur prior to closing. Michael is also a partner in Straus & Eisler P.A. Since 1985, his practice has focused on commercial real estate, business transactions, and real estate and commercial litigation. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida and his law degree from Nova Southeastern School of Law. |
